Ranch Visits

When it comes to our animals, we prefer quality over quantity, and we also feel that way about farm visits. We like to spend time with people who are interested in alpacas, their fiber, husbandry, etc., so we prefer visiting one-on-one. 2011 Alpaca Canada Fleece Show Results:
MHR Misty's Perfect Storm's fleece was awarded 1st place in the Juvenile White class; Grand Champion White fleece and Supreme Champion! This fleece has now won Supreme Champion in four out of five Fleece Shows it has entered - Olds, Navan Fair, Alpaca Ontario and now Alpaca Canada! His fleece received Reserve Colour Champion at the Lloydminster Fleece Show.

We are a 20-acre alpaca breeding facility located just 15 minutes NW of the city of Calgary, and 1-1/2 hours East of the world-famous Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada.

The focus of our breeding program is simple - we believe the future of the alpaca industry lies in producing ultra fine fleeces to complete on the world market with cashmere and other similiar luxury fibers. To this end our breeding program has enjoyed considerable success and has produced several quality, award-winning alpacas.

In addition to exquisite fiber characteristics, our alpacas are bred for soundness and desirable temperaments. Being a small ranch, we have the opportunity to interact with all of our alpacas on a daily basis.

Our alpacas are registered with the Canadian (CLRC) and U.S. (ARI) registeries. We are also proud members of Alpaca Canada, the Canadian Llama & Alpaca Association (CLAA), the Alpaca Owners and Breeders Association (AOBA) and the Alpaca Livestock Producers and Cooperators Association (A.L.P.A.C.A.).
