Guard Llama for sale $199. Belena is a 14 year old llama that has worked on our farm for over 8 years now. She does her job well and has a good disposition. I have yet to see her spit at anyone. :) We would love to see Belena go to a good farm so she can continue to do what she does best...guard alpacas!!! My husband and I have decided to get out of the alpaca business to pursue new endeavors otherwise we would keep Belena. If you need a good reliable llama to guard your precious alpacas please give Belena a chance. Located just East of Cincinnati, on 27 peaceful country acres, Redwood Ranch Alpacas eagerly awaits to introduce you to the alpaca lifestyle! With 20+ alpacas currently being raised on our farm, and 7 crias due in 2013, we are proud to own some of the most elite Huacaya alpacas in the Greater Cincinnati area. With over eight years of experience, we have embraced all aspects of the business including showing, training, breeding, birthing, herd health, and pasture management. Best of all we are here to share our experiences, help to answer your questions, and to guide you towards being a successful alpaca breeder. We might even be able to help you relieve some of that "I just need to cuddle with a cute alpaca" tension, with a kiss from our always popular Diamond or Icon!
Our breeding program focuses on a mixture of Full Peruvian and Accoyo Huacaya alpacas of color with outstanding fleece and conformational characteristics. Our breeding stock has some of the largest Huacaya names in their heritages, and both our Dams and our Herdsires have placed numerously in AOBA certified alpaca shows. Our breeding decisions are carefully made by assessing each dam individually and selecting a complementary Sire in order to produce the best crias possible. Thus far our breeding program has been highly successful, and this year's crias are no different, as they already display incredible fleece, and perfect conformation. It will be a joy to see these crias compete in upcoming alpaca shows!
Redwood Ranch Alpacas is a fully operational alpaca farm, and other than sales and breeding services, we also offer a variety of boarding, birthing and training services. To show our customer appreciation, we offer multiple breeding discounts, package deals, and a Customer Referral and Reward Program.
