Welcome to our farm!

Shepherd Hills Alpacas is not an alpaca farm in the traditional sense. We are agistors. That is, we own alpacas but we board them at Flint Stone Farm in Coopersburg, PA. Our daughters were part of the PACA Patrol, a group of Girl Scouts who meet weekly to take care of, train and show alpacas. We would be happy to talk with you about our alpacas or about becoming an agistor!

Blankstone's Desiree
Beauchner's Sebastian born 9/21/2011

Prince Ali Ababwa - Born 9/29/2010

Beauchner's Tiger Lily with Gaston

Shepherd Hills Alpacas is not an alpaca farm in the traditional sense. We are agistors. That is, we own alpacas but we board them at Flint Stone Farm Alpacas in Coopersburg, PA. We have the pleasure of enjoying and managing our small herd without the hard work of caring for the alpacas on a daily basis.
Our interest in alpacas started in 2004 when our daughters became part of the PACA patrol. We found that purchasing an alpaca was a sound investment and a lot more interesting than putting money in the bank. Our goal is to fund our children's college education through the sale of our alpacas with the added benefit of exposing our children to this peaceful animal and the farming lifestyle.

BLANKSTONE'S DESIREE - Our Foundation Female
Desi had us with her topknot! We fell in love with her looks and as naive, new alpaca shoppers we didn't do much research. We just trusted our instincts which turned out to be correct! Desiree has gone on to win 2nd place in the largest alpaca show on the East Coast and to produce award-winner (Blue Ribbon) crias!

PRINCE ALI ABABWA
Our first male was born on Wednesday, September 29, 2010 to Blankstone's Desiree. Sire is AW Magic of Angel Wood Farm Alpacas. What an amazing fleece we are seeing on him already! We are very excited about his fleece, conformation and we love his medium brown color. Prince Ali made his show ring debut at MAPACA Jubilee 2011, on April 8, 9, and 10 in Harrisburg PA. Prince Ali placed 3rd in his halter class and took 2 blue ribbons in the performance classes.

BEAUCHNER'S GASTON
Gaston was born to Beauchner's Tiger Lily on June 13, 2011. We can't wait to see what he does in the show ring with a Mom like Beauchner's Tiger Lily and a Dad like Accoyo America Triton. Beauchner's Tiger Lily, with her first place Blue Ribbon at MAPACA Jubilee 2010 Fleece Show, was recently sold to new owners who love her dearly!

BEAUCHNER'S SEBASTIAN
Our newest alpaca was born on September 21, 2011 and he is amazing! He is PERFECTION in conformation and fleece.
