Welcome to StoneGate Alpaca and thank you for stopping by our site. Nestled in the heart of Vermont Ski country, StoneGate started raising Alpaca in 2008 with an eye to developing a small and superior herd.

StoneGate Alpaca is a full service farm offering Sales, Breedings, Agistment, and Full service support. Our mission is to breed a modest herd of high quality fleece producing animals with a focus on white and light Peruvian Hucayas.

We selected as foundation females those animals that embodied the outstanding fleece characteristics consistant with our mission - Fineness, Density, Brightness, and Staple and to them bred similarly high quality proven males. The results have been extraordinary.

We encourage you to preview our herd, view our accomplishments, evaluate our breeding decisions and results, and speculate with us the opportunities coming from our next generation of cria.

Financing your purchase with StoneGate Alpaca is an option. Every purchase and every person's needs are unique and as such we offer a variety of choices to make your investment a reality. We are always open to discussing alternatives to our standard terms should they not accomodate a particular situation.

* 5% cash discount on any purchase unless otherwise indicated on an individual offer
* 12 month 1/12 scheduled note is offered interest free
* Prime Plus 1% on contracts longer than 12 months - Prime as stated by WSJ as of contract date.
* Financing available for up to a 4 year term* Value of the purchase will determine lenth of option.
* Animals financed must carry full mortality insurance and StoneGate Alpaca LLc as Co-Beneficiary until the note is fulfilled.
