"Sabamba" - many ask about our name - We took the first letter of our 7 children's name to create our name. We wanted them all to be a part of the ranch right from the beginning...and the name has a little South American sound to it, which is where the Alpacas emigrated from.
We started our ranch in 2006 by remodeling an 1890 Midwest farm house to include two very special guest rooms. Both rooms have their own private baths and the "Rose" room also includes a luxurious whirlpool tub. We welcome everyone to take time away from your busy lives and enjoy our preacful home with the friendly alpacas. We would love to introduce you to these fun-tastic animals with their unique characteristics. In the fall of 2007 we were able to move in and bring all of our alpacas home.
Our alpacas were selected from very reputable breeders who have helped us through all of our growing pains. They have been wonderful role models for us as to how to care for our customers. In the spring and fall of each year we will hold a alpaca seminar on the ranch for anyone who has an interest in starting a farm. It will provide you with much of the basic information that you will need to help you decide if raising alpacas is right for you.
Whether your young or old, city dwellers or country folk, single or married, couples or families, corporate business person or self-employeed, we welcome you all to meet the alpacas. This business is both challenging and fun! Tom and I are passionate about our alpacas. We are also engaged in actively marketing superb alpaca products as well as developing new products.
**If you are looking for fiber/pet quality males, we currently have three available. Call 920-371-0003 for details and pricing. **
