Welcome to our farm

We provide friendly extensive on going support for new alpaca owners.

Female alpacas bought from Andes of Mayberry Alpaca Farm come with a live birth guarantee and two free breedings.

We are a small alpaca breeding farm in Eastern Pennsylvania. Just west of the Lehigh Valley (Allentown, Bethlehem), we are easy to find. VISITORS WELCOME ! Just call.

My wife Marti and I started our operation in the spring of 2005 with 3 female Huacaya alpacas and our first crias were born on the farm in June of 2007. What an experience! I come from a family of steel workers and Marti was a therapist, transplanted from southern California. There is not one "farmer" in our collective woodpile. Raising alpacas is not rocket science. We have had to learn a lot to get it right and we are eager to help new owners in any way we can.

We have five top notch breeding females and have arrainged some excellent breedings. We will (when all of the cria are born) have decendents of some of the most highly regarded herdsires and genetic lines in the USA: Incuding Accoyo Express, El Nino, Camelio, Lancaster, Mr.President and Royal Fawn. This is very exciting for our little farm. .

We had three new cria born last spring (2011); two females born within six days of each other in the beginning of June and one male born in late June. In all total we've had ten births on our farm. We were present for each birth and made sure each cria got the best possible care from the first breath they took outside of mom. To witness and be a part of this process is truely a gift.

We offer personal interactive mentoring on the farm for anyone who is considering purchasing alpacas from us. We train our alpacas to walk on leads, get in a minivan for transporting, etc. and once a month we hold herd health day. We also offer personalized support for starting your own alpaca farm from the ground up.

We opened our farm store the first time during the holiday season in 2011. We will have regular hours again during the holiday season and drop by appointments any time during the year, just call ahead to make sure someone is on the farm to help you. Check our web page for store hours around the holiday's, and other updated events held on the farm throughout the year. Come and see us. It is always a pleasure show off our "kids" and to talk about alpacas and alpaca related issues.
