Welcome to the online home of Yankee Belle Alpacas and Llamas! Thanks for stopping in.

I own alpacas and llamas boarded at a llama farm and winery 15 miles west of Winston-Salem, NC in the beautiful Yadkin Valley. I've owned alpacas and llamas since the summer of 2010. I have a small herd- less than 20- but a wonderful herd that I'm very proud of. I've had all sorts of experiences in my alpaca farming life from the wonderful and exciting to the heartbreaking and downright discouraging. I wouldn't change a minute of it if I had the chance though.

I'm a corporate gal by day (and sometimes evening, night...ugh!) and enjoy my farm not only as an additional source of income but as a getaway from my otherwise insane life. Read my blog post from 10/2/12 for more on that!

I'm not the biggest breeder in the area- nor am I striving to be. I'm an alpaca lover, a yarn spinner, a llama enthusiast and just an everyday person who embraces every experience the alpaca and llama life has brought me. I'd love to introduce you to the life that I've fallen so in love with!

Whether you're just curious about alpacas and llamas, interested in owning alpacas or llamas or just feel like taking a day to do something a little different- I'd love to have you as a guest at my farm to learn more about these amazing animals.
