Welcome to our farm page! We are Mason, Jennifer and Morgan of Alpacas of Star Ranch located in the far northeast corner of Colorado. For several years we had seen the alpaca commercials and thought to ourselves, "what glorious animals!" Well, finally in March 2011 we made the decision to jump into the alpaca business and we have been thrilled ever since.
Because of the size of our farm we wanted to make a livestock choice that would be suit our needs. We find alpacas to be a perfect fit for our farm. They are as graceful and peaceful as they seem and we all welcome this wonderful new life we have begun!
The focus of our breeding at ASR is strictly on improving the fleece quality in our herd. For ASR it is ALL ABOUT THE FLEECE.
