We are Rick Daugherty and Carol Thayer, and we are located in the scenic COLUMBIA RIVER GORGE on 60 stunning acres rolling up to the foot of Mt Adams in the sunny Glenwood Valley. We opened a retail store about 20 minutes away in downtown Hood River, Oregon, and we have been floored by the constant reaction of the public to our magical end-products we so often take for granted! The world thinks we are sitting on a pot of gold with these animals -- because HEY!! WE ARE!!! We believe in the products we are breeding for -- and FINENESS is our main breeding goal and has been for 16 years, and it shows! The consistency of low microns, low CV's and SD's throughout our mid-sized herd is remarkable. We have bred girls for sale (not all are listed), Maidens, Mom and daughter packages, and incredible herd sires, proven and/or youngsters who are more advanced than the parents. Too many to list! We are pricing packages and many high-quality girls in keeping with this recession (not to be confused with less quality).
