Debbie, Lexi & Wyatt West Penn Alpacas.

West Penn Alpacas is nestled in Southwestern Pennsylvania. Our farm is 35 miles south of Pittsburgh PA. We welcome you to visit our 60 acre farm and experience the joy and passion of raising such beautiful creatures. West Penn Alpacas started raising these unique animals in the fall of 1996. Our herd of Huacaya Alpacas continues to grow.



Wyatt & Lexi are "Hands-On" at West Penn Alpacas!

Debbie graduated from California University of Penn with a BS Degree in Marketing. She was employed by West Penn wire as Marketing Co-coordinator. In 1996, after purchasing a farm, the first investments were made into the creation of West Penn Alpacas. After the birth of Alexis in 1998, Debbie left the corporate world to be a stay-at-home mom and full-time alpaca farmer. Today the herd has grown to over 150 suri and huacayas with more on the way!

With 14 years raising alpacas, Debbie was an initial member of PAOBA, The Suri Network, AFCNA, and MAPACA. Debbie was also a founding partner in the Eastern Extreme Auction.
