Workshop Description
Potato Chip Knitting- an easy knit with short rows
Want to learn to make the worlds easiest and most fun knitted scarf?
The most fun about this scarf besides being so easy and looks so hard, is that it curls and holds itself while wearing it. You really don't need to tie it. It rest on your neck and keeps you warm with a cute raffle hangs down.
Workshop - reflections
Class opened by discussing how versatile this pattern is. If you use bulky, worsted yarn you have one look and if you use sport weight or DK weight
you get a different look.
Bulky/worsted
You could make a long scarf, using more yarn, or a short scarf, just enough to come your neck.
We used a WPI tool to determine the weight of the yarn.
Everyone picked up the pattern easily even our brand new knitter.
The crocheters in the group would like to make a potato chip scarf.
