About our Store
We are very pleased to welcome you to Que Sera's Ranch Boutique, which has become a fun meeting place and hub of ranch activities. We've been filling it up with imported and manufactured lines we feel are particularly fine - Italian-designed jackets, elegant throws and shawls, warm lightweight outdoor vests & jackets for hiking and sports, great ski hats, gloves and fingerless gloves, darling stuffed animals for children, and the best socks you can buy! We can barely keep all the styles of our soft socks on the racks in these months! (If you wear a pair you'll see why.) But our primary focus is on our beautiful hand-made local products - from hand-spun and local mill-spun yarns, hand-dyed here on the ranch, to one-of-a-kind finished products, including scarves and shawls, casual hats & fashion-forward berets, the sweetest, softest baby hats & booties, even unique fiber-flower pins to add to a glove, hat or scarf. All of our pieces, big and small, make wonderfully special gifts - including unique semi-precious stone necklaces & bracelets made by Anne. Be sure to let us know if you're buying gifts for others so we can give you our special alpaca ranch cards to include in each. That way they'll know your gift was from a true Santa Fe Altiplano Alpaca Ranch.
For those of you who are spinners, weavers, knitters, crocheters and other fiber artists, we also sell intact primary blankets and skirted, sorted and graded hanks. There is no greater joy for us than seeing and feeling the softness of our award winning fleeces cleaned and processed and ready for a beautiful project! We sell raw fiber, roving and bats by weight based on color and quality - micron, staple length, color consistency. We have some displayed throughout our shop, but if you're looking for a slightly different shade of color or for greater quantity, let us know and we will bring more out to the store for you.
For those of you not familiar with Alpaca clothing, it is highly practical in it's warmth-per-weight factor, which lets you stay warm without bulk or weight (nor the itchy-prickling of most wools). And due to it's outstanding softness and often silky feel, it is also more valued than cashmere by designers and textile experts. Great to wear and a wonderful gift!
Come for a visit, and enjoy wearing and sharing this most interesting and luxurious fiber. If you have guests or a family outing planned and would like to include a "cook's tour" of the mothers and babies area, just give Anne a call at least a day or two in advance and we'll arrange that for you: 505 310 3369.
We look forward to seeing you!
