Snoqualmie is the full package with Superior Genetics!
Snoqualmie's first cria hit the ground in 2010! Our partners Ryen & Ursula Munro of Tripping Gnome Farm, had chosen to purchase Snoqualmie from a small and select group of males offered to them by Julie and Don Skinner of Snowmass Alpacas. Prediciting that, based on his ancestral genetic mix and phenotypical presentaion, Snoqualmie would perform as an excellent herd sire and they were right. His cria are strong, full of vigor and have fine, dense, bright, silky and well nourished fleeces.
Snoqualmie’s sire is none other than Snowmass Quechua the 2007 & 2008 Herd Sire of the year. He was an outstanding male in every way. However let’s not forget Snoqualmie’s dam "Snowmass Sparkling Snow" as she has her own impressive lineage of Peruvian Snowmaster, & PPPeruvian Augusto. Quechua genetics are few and far between. Those who have them have kept them close due to Quechua's untimley death.
Snoqualmie has grown into a solid upright, well balanced male with strong bone and a compact frame. His fleece exhibits all of the "Must Haves" fineness, density, brightness, and character. The full Package? We think so!
