Calico Rose is a well-balanced, well-grown, gorgeous silver grey girl with excellent conformation and great presence all topped off with a beautiful typey Huacaya head! Her fiber is fine with a very soft handle, excellent staple length and moderate crimp and density. She won 4th place in a class of 13 juvenile silver grey females at the 2005 Great Western Alpaca Show where her lovely head and face drew praise from Judge Amanda Van den Bosch. At the Mid-America Alpaca Show, she won first place in her halter class and was the third place bred and owned huacaya female. Her medium silver grey sire is the son of Peruvian Olympus. Her dam, PFF Sylvia, has the excellent presence and conformation of her sire, Acero Marka's Wooly Bully, and the grey genetics of her dam, Silver Lining, who is a daughter of The Silversmith.
