We are very excited to introduce Snowmass Royal Pacuna who is the son of Snowmass Royal Challenger and Snowmass Quecha's Vicuna. He was on the Snowmass show string and did very well. He placed third in Futurity (behind Snowmass animals) as a juvenile and yearling! He placed 2nd (behind Snowmass as well) at the IAO as an adult. His Dam is Quechua’s Vicuna one of Snowmass's only direct colored Quechua daughters and is stunning!

His sire is Royal Challenger - no more needs to be said! Snowmass Royal Challenger, the 2004 Futurity Color Champion, has proven himself by producing the next generation of elite colored huacaya alpacas. He is the son of Snowmass Royal Rose, one of the top Studs from the North American Alpaca Stud Group, Royal Challenger hails from a long line of “greats” including Hemingway and Bueno. Challenger’s dam, PPPeruvian Edelweis is a grand dam in her own right- a long time producer of champions. Royal Challenger consistently passes on his superior phenotype and fleece attributes to his offspring - superb conformation, awesome coverage, fineness, high-frequency style crimp, long staple length and beautiful brightness.

Description

Beautiful, dense male out of Snowmass Royal Pacuna who has incredible genetics on both parents side.
Boasting Snowmass Royal Rose, Royal Challenger, Quechhua, PPPeruvian Edelweis on his sire's side....DAM includes Jericho and Sir Winston of Melbourne of Australia.
This male is ready for dating career and will be three in Oct. He has incredible dense fleece with a nice architecture throughout with gray fiber hidden within his blanket, making a rose gray possibility for crias.
Pancho has a stout build with excellent confirmation and bite, and top knot. He puts out the weight for shearing time and his brown color is rich and shiny! His personality is curious and always comes up to the first timers at our farm! He loves to give kisses!

His latest fiber data is in 2014 which shows fineness got better with age from 2013...
