Presenting Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud, the 2005 Silver National Champion - now in Virginia. This fine males reputation precedes him by the high number of champions he has produced since his winning at nationals, including the 2010 AOBA National Gray Male Color Champion. Not many males have had the staying power of this Champion. The choice of judges and top breeding farms from coast to coast. The perfect cross for those of you owning .38 special females, Silver Legend females, and Orlando Cloud females! In fact, Rincon females can be found in many of the top gray breeding programs around.
Rincon Cloud is still at the top of his game. He brings defined low amplitude crimp style and low micron numbers and extreme density. His offspring are stamped with his strong phenotype that the judges love. Together they've won over 180 awards from Champion - Second place.
Closed to outside breedings. Breedings only available with the purchase of breeding stock females.

Description
Lorenzo's pedigree combines the greys of Emerald Farm's Rincon Cloud (the 2005 Silver National Champion), Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol, and Danko with Patagonia's well-established true black and grey lines, including the legendary Patagonia's Neruda. Props to Squire Creek Ranch for bringing these programs together and producing Lorenzo!
Lorenzo sports his sires proud head and body density, which is melded with his maternal grand-sire Neruda's crimpy fleece characteristics, producing a dark silver grey macho maintaining sub-20 micron fleece at five years old. Add to this his gentle demeanor and willingness/curiosity to be around us humans, and you have an easy to handle male who is a pleasure to show and work with. Speaking of showing, Lorenzo beat out all shades of grey as a yearling to take the 1st Place and Reserve Color ribbons at Alpacapalooza in 2011, following it up in 2012 as a 2 year old with another 1st Place ribbon at Palooza. In his latest shows, he took 1st in Halter (Alpacapalooza) and Fleece (NW Alpaca Showcase), both as a 6 year old in 2015.
As of summer 2020, Lorenzo now has five cria on the ground, with all of them passing on their dam's coloring, producing both brown and grey crias. With his genetics, fiber, demeanor, and coloration, can't wait to see how Lorenzo's future offspring turn out, especially when paired with smaller framed dams that may need some body density added to their offspring.
