"Whoa!" was the exclamation by senior judge Jude Anderson when she opened "Wiz's" fleece as he sailed to a first place in an extremely competitive yearling class at the North American Alpaca Show. He has now several banners, as well. His compact frame packs on an abundance of fine, medium frequency, very bright fleece.

We are totally thrilled with this girl! "Julia" ("Julia"-"Pretty Woman," get it?) has incredible presence and a fleece to die for with crimp, consistency, density, and fineness all in a rich chocolate brown. With Guellermo and Black Magic as the grandfathers, we probably shouldn't be as amazed as we are. Julia has produced a very nice true black when bred to same, then had a 2 brown girls. Description

We're delighted with this beautiful brown girl. She was born a healthy 18.4 lbs and is growing like a weed, clearing 75 lbs. at 6 months! She's going to be a big girl. Her conformation appears to be spot on and she looks just like mom with the lovely fleece characteristics that her sire, Infinite Wisdom, possesses. She definitely has that alpha ring presence which you can already see in her poses. We're confident she'll be running her herd sooner than later!

Penny has bits of Chilean and Bolivian roots (Rockin Reddi and Acero Marka's Alfonso, respectively), but the rest is all Peruvian, featuring Camilio, Augusto, Black Magic, and Guellermo.

Her histogram data came in right where we'd expected. 21 micron with great consistency, nice crimp, and a 98% comfort factor! She sells with a cria on board of your choice and a breeding for the future (transferable). We won't be sad if you pass her by, she may even kick Mom our of our foundation herd.

Judge Timmerman confirmed our thoughts, singling her out for her conformation, size, and proportions, but remarked that she wasn't as fine as those above her. No big deal, easy trait to improve.

Penny has been exposed to Coletrane for her first cria in 2018.

5/19/18 - Penny delivered a handsome light brown male. She's proving to be an excellent, if not a bit overprotective, young mother.
