    Hidden Hill Ado Annie

Huacaya, Female, Unproven | Light Fawn

    AOA# 31077255   D.O.B. 8/7/2007, 7/8 Peruvian, 1/8 Other/Unknown

    Sire:
    Caligula's Casanova
        |
White, 827924, Full Peruvian If geneticists could "build to suit," I daresay they would not come close to producing Caligula's Casanova. Casanova is, simply put, one of the most arresting-looking machos around. Even more importantly, he is producing his type for us, such that farm visitors are not just saying "who's that guy?" but rather "who are those guys??" Casanova represents the pinnacle of Accoyo/Alianza cross genetics. For us, he exemplifies what our huacaya breeding program is all about. If you have a special female for whom only the best will do, Casanova is your man. Casanova offspring exhibit consistency of fineness, character and staple formation that goes the distance -- all the way to the fetlocks, in many instances! Since his cria started arriving in fall of 2004, they have all possessed his excellent coverage and density, without exception. As of two weeks ago, Casanova is now a producer of champions, with Hidden Hill Peruvian Brillanta taking the reserve color

    Dam:
    VA Emily
        |
Medium Fawn, 830538 Emily is not your average Hemingway daughter -- she is so solidly medium fawn, she coaxes our most dominant white sires to let her have medium fawn offspring. Talk about fineness retention -- when I first examined Emily prior to buying her out west, I just could not get past her bright, high frequency fleece, excellent density and character verging on bundling. Then I happened to look at her birthdate -- it said 1997!! I was looking at what was then a six year old female, and figuring her for a girl about to have her very first cria! Well, I took that female and ran home with her. If you can see all that in a six year old fleece, those are genetics you want in your herd. Emily is a small-framed alpaca, but she is exceedingly correct, possesses coverage to the toes and has a nice, typey head to this day. She births with ease and usually has so much milk that I sometimes have to ease her burden by milking off some excess! In 2004, Emily gave us HHF Casanova's Boomer

    Description

Go directly to the head of the class! Ado Annie is every inch a Caligula's Casanova daughter. With maternal and paternal grandsires (Alianza) Hemingway and (Accoyo) Caligula, just on pedigree alone this little girl should be of great interest. However, if aiming for elite dark colors, Ado Annie should be of even greater value, as her full brother, HHF Casanova's Boomer Sooner, is producing blue-ribbon-winning black and solid gray offspring for his owners, and all these offspring are carrying the typeyness of their grandsire, our own Caligula's Casanova. Even Boomer's white offspring are placing at large shows. Annie has the heavy black eyeliner, dark palate and black toenails that would make her an ideal choice to breed to a very high-end black male somewhere down the line. Annie's fleece is extremely fine and bright and she is carrying the coverage and typeyness I fully would expect in a Casanova daughter. Her conformation and elegance of proportion show in every single image of her. She is one of those animals that you simply cannot get to take an awkward picture, ever. With a pedigree anchored by grandsires Accoyo Caligula and Hemingway, what might we add? Well, how about a free breeding to our colored sire of champions, El Segundo de Royal Fawn and half-price breedings as long as you own Ado Annie? Photo Credits: All images (C) J. Clark!

    Financing Terms

We like to tailor financing to meet the needs of our clients, so we do not have set terms. Everyone has a different set of parameters, just as they do different goals, so a 'one size fits all' approach just makes no sense when talking financing terms.
