Bolero is the real deal! He has a super bright fleece and exhibits fantastic characteristics in fineness, density, and crimp.
Bolero's dam is an Archangel daughter (Snowmass Legacy Line) that at 5yrs of age still had an AFD 20.6, CV 19.7 and %30-2.3. His sire, Snowmass Inspiration (Peruvian Snowmaster and Snowmass Perfection Line), was sporting an AFD 23.2, CV 21.5 at 6yrs of age. Bolero got the best of both parents. His fleece is soft with a very nice zipper crimp. Just look at his histograms and you'll see he is one fine fellow!
Bolero's 2014 fleece remained amazing in year 3! Still super fine, with beautiful character and brightness. The judges agreed as Bolero came home with a blue and RC at IAO! In 2016, at 5 years of age he shows unbelievable stats including a 54.5 curve! If you want to add character to your herd's fleece, Bolero is your guy! Every single one of his offspring have had a curve over 50, which is why he is in the top 1% EPD for that category.
Bolero's crias have all exhibited his fineness and crimp. Bolero was never taken to a show due to scheduling conflicts during his show days, and it is an absolute shame! We just got the fiber results back on one of Bolero's boys from last year and the stats are impeccable: 14.6 3.4 23.1 0.4. Bolero's fleece is so bright and continues to reproduce those qualities in his offspring! We have chosen to focus on color, which is the only reason we are offering Bolero at this price!
Bolero's EPD results are worth taking an extra look at. He recently had a daughter sell at auction for a very pretty penny and every one of his cria's have demonstrated high character fleeces. If you want bright, fine and crimpy, you want Bolero!
Bolero had his first breeding with a dam of another color, a spotted gray girl. He produced color! The cria had a white neck with a fawn blanket. She is gorgeous and has Bolero's characteristic crimp and shine. Absolutley beautiful!
