Epic Alpacas is pleased to announce the addition of Crescent Moon's Wilkinson to our outstanding lineup of herdsires!

Wilkinson is a 10-time Champion and more notably, he's the back-to-back National Color Champion, taking the highest grey male honors at AOA in both 2015 and 2016! Most recently, as a 3.5 year old, he took the Color Championship at the 2016 Alpaca Breeders Invitational in a very competitive group of greys, proving that even after having cria on the ground, he's still got it! ...

ARI# 32492101 | DOB: 6/15/2013
Minka is 4th generation grey. She is a beautiful, solid light rose grey with stunning phenotype. She's inherited her sire, El Vasco's density and fleece character. El Vasco has retained fineness with age as well, at 10 his AFD is 23.6, wow!

On May 16, 2016, Minka had a gorgeous tux grey boy with exquisite fleece from 5x Champ MFI Tiger Blood! Minka is a great mom with lots of milk.

Minka's 2017 cria is a tux grey male, Westfall, with exceptional fleece from our 10x Champ grey herdsire...

Westfall is a wonderful young male sired by 2X National Champ, Crescent Moon's Wilkinson, and out of extremely dense female, Starshire's Minka.

This male has it all going on, and only looks to get better. He is phenotypically spot-on, catching everyone's eye with his coverage and fleece traits that extend to the very tips of his fiber. He has fineness, density, crimp, bundling, and amazing brightness.

At his first show, at just 6 months and 1 week of age, he impressed the judges - both the Walking Fleece and Halter judges commenting on how nice he was now, and how much nicer they expect he'll be as he comes into his 2nd fleece. The fleece judge said that he is already incredibly dense, and when the rest of his follicles erupt, he'll be something to behold. Look out for Fall of 2018, this amazing youngster will be tearing it up!
