Albarino was born Labor Day weekend. His mother had a hard delivery and gave it all for this little guy. Sad but true. Albarino was bound and determined to find himself another mother and within 10 days, he buttered up to Nefertari and joined her family! This is one tough alpaca. He is strong and proud... and WOW does he have the crimp and fineness like I have never seen before in grey! Superb male. Solid frame, beautiful coverage, magnificent brightness in his rose grey fleece, and the most gorgeous high frequency crimp style!

Maylano is a full peruvian and has an extremely dense fiber coat with uniform crimp from head to toe--her fiber is remarkable for a grey. With two elite grey sires in Maylano's background, she is sure to pass on this excellence and color to future generations. She has the dense, crimpy fiber that is evident in most of Silvio's offspring that have won many championships.

Description
Sweet Clover's Sterling is now proven. We had a surprize cria out of Petunia and he is just beautiful light rose gray, appears to be elite silky huacaya alpaca.
Sweet Clover's Sterling is the product of two outstanding gray breeding programs in Ohio.
Sterling's dam, Maylano, from peruvian lineage, is a multi championship winner; under halter and in fleece, portraying her exceptional breeding. She carries a dense, very crimpy fiber that is evident in most of her sire, Silvio's offspring. Silvio's offspring have gone on to win many championships.
Sterling's sire, Albarino, although never shown, is strong and bold, and WOW does he have the crimp and fineness not often seen in greys. Albarino is a superb male. He has a solid frame, beautiful coverage, magnificent brightness in his rose grey fleece, and the most gorgeous high frequency crimp style.
Sterling is very gentle and sweet natured, a temperment that I seek in a herdsire prospect. He is quite a looker, tall and heavy boned, solid framed and was just under one hundred pounds at eleven months old. He is a little shy, but seems to pose without even trying to. I cannot wait to get him in the showring.
