Bidding Info

What can I say... I liked this boy when I first had an opportunity to photograph him at the Gold Country Classic, then again at the California Classic shows. The owner/breeder of Doctor K ("Doc") is Len Cheyet, Washoe Valley Alpacas.

Doc is very special to Len, when he was diagnosed with a highly aggressive form of prostate cancer, he told his surgeon "If you get me through this, I will name an alpaca after you." Len was blessed with a brilliant surgeon and is now cancer free.... a promise made is a promise kept, so here's Doc!

Roger Hoeflinger took a look at Doc at the 2012 California Classic and purchased him then. He began his breeding career at Roger's ranch and has proven himself with outstanding cria such as JJJ Jeyton Jae, who was born on Super Bowl Sunday 2016.

We purchased him when Roger decided to move back to his home state of Michigan and have placed him over a variety of our colored girls.

My goal is to see if Doc passes on his outstanding fiber characteristics AND see if we can add some color to his offspring! Goal met this spring, he sired a light fawn male out of a medium fawn dam! Fiber looks good, too! Purchase him for the price of a stud fee!

Financing Terms

Cash, check, credit cards, PayPal! Financing is available on all sales. We can work with your budget. We will also help you find transporters if you need assistance in locating one to move the alpacas to their new ranch. We ask for 1/3 money down, no interest if paid in full within 6 months of purchase or 1.5 % interest per month will be applied after 6 months until paid in full. Buyer assumes all boarding fees and vet care until the alpaca or alpacas are paid for and moved to their new home. Buyer may take possession of the animals when paid in full, and seller retains title and registration rights until balance is paid in full. The buyer agrees to purchase and maintain a full mortality insurance plan, naming the seller as loss payee, until the animals are paid in full.
