"Bulldog" as he is affectionately known by us, remains the defining picture of the type of alpaca that we like to see in our pastures. A stud among studs, his capacity, coverage and beauty ooze "Herdsire". A look at his progeny and you realize that his potency rivals his looks. A Champion himself our expectations and hopes ran high for Valentino when he started his breeding career. As he has now been breeding for us since 2003, he has never disappointed. His ultra fine bay black fleece finally rose noticeably above 20 microns in his 5th year to 22.5 micron. That sustained fineness, along with outstanding density and his regal appeal have kept him in a very active position on our "Honeymoon Lane" herdsire row. Considering his production record and his personal attributes, it is honest to say that he could remain here as a breeder for many years to come and that we would benefit from that. It is our honor and privilege to present for your consideration, "Crescent Moons Valentino". Raise your hand.....Youll be glad that you did!

Description
Moonshadow's Obsession is the daughter of Crescent Moon's Valentino! One look at his picture says it all!
Valentino is a powerhouse herdsire that has passed on truly fantastic genetics to his offspring!
Moonshadow's Obsession is a very special girl. She looks great, has outstanding coverage, great density and long staple. She brings many solid traits for a foundation dam, and has a very friendly personality.
From her previous owners:
"She is an outstanding mom and has been a natural from her first delivery. Easy breeding, easy delivery, plenty of milk and a very attentive mom. MO had her first cria from breeding to Sunset Hill's Andean Gold.
What a knock out! Great head, strong bone and dense, dense, crimpy soft fleece!
Obsession went to 2 shows in 2010 taking a 4th at GWAS in class of 15, 5th at CABA of 14...very stiff competition!
Her second cria from Snowmass Golden Victory is another awesome example of MO's incredible potential as a production dam and was awarded a 2nd Place at NW Alpaca Showcase in 2011.
Her 3rd cria also stood out in the shows at the top of her class, only Lennox daughters stood above her in both shows she attended.
All of MO's kids have had great fiber and coverage, not only has she given us great cria over the years, the last 6 have all been girls!"
