Zorro is large in size with great bone density and good conformation. He has a bright and dense fleece. Although he is light colored, he has black toe nails and is dark around the eyes and muzzle indicating that his color genes are strong and that he should produce color in his offspring. Thus far he has produced two crias, a medium rose gray female and a silver grey male (and neither dam was gray!) Not bad for a start!
Zorro's sire is the infamous Snowmass Peruvian Casanova, who was 2003 AAA Futurity Herdsire of the Year, and grandson of Peruvian Bueno, multi Get of Sire winner. Casanova is well known in the alpaca industry for producing numerous show champions, including Snowmass Nova. Casanova is also where all the gray comes from. This boy is throwing gray when bred to black and brown, and not just any gray. These are fantastic offspring. His son Levi sold at only three months old and his daughter Rosie was the first of her generation sold.
