Here at Tierra Prometida Alpacas, we are thrilled to announce the addition of Snowmass Touche' to our herdsire line-up. We have been looking for a long time for a males who can geneticallly and phenotypically complement our Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon offspring and those of his beautiful son's. We were looking for a male that we could breed to our Elite White females and to our colored production females. In essence, we were looking for a male with Elite Fleece Characteristics--especially with a combination of Density, Fineness, Brightness, and bundling. I believe that we have found the PERFECT MALE to fit our needs! Snowmass Touche is truly one of the finest, densest, Elite white fleece studs out of the Snowmass Breeding program. He was designed like Snowmass Matrix to go over both Elite white and Color production Dams. He has a very unique genetic line up which includes the superior line of Snowmass Maree Love --the Dam to Snowmass QUECHUA and Snowmass INVINCIBLE, Touche's Sire. The unique and white Elite element to Touche is his Dam, Snowmass Olay--she is the only Sollocota - Allianza line with her fineness in the Snowmass herd. Her fleece to date has amazing high curvature and lasting finenss fleece attributes. At age 8 her stats are 22.6 3.8 16.6 2.5 and a 50.3 CURV remarkable at any age but at age 8 with this CV WOW and the reason she is one of Snowmass' ROYAL white breeding Dams and a KEY ELEMENT in Snowmass Touche's importance as an ELITE fleece STUD. He has his first offspring on the ground of which the oldest came to the Futurity 2010 in the Snowmass show string-- "Snowmass Velvet Touch". TP Poseidon's Zsa Zsa is a daughter of one of Caligula Accoyo Poseidon's most notable sons, PNA Poseidon's Isaac. Like his sire, he has produced multiple champions in many colors. Zsa Zsa's dam, Pipsissewa, is one of our most reliable producers of consistent quality in fleece and conformation. She is the mother of Crescent Moon's Valentino and one of our favorite females, Tierra's Columbine. Zsa Zsa is no exception. She is lovely white female with an extremely dense and fine fleece full of elite fleece characteristics. She has bundles of high fequency, low amplitude fleece with a wonderful handle and exceptional brightness.

For her first breeding, we have decided to breed her to our newest herd sire, Snowmass Touche', who was the high selling huacaya at the 2010 Futurity Auction. He is the perfect choice for this breeding because of his extreme density and fineness combined with one of the brightest mature white fleeces around. His 2010 histogram (at 4.5 years):
