Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Light Silver Grey, 5/8 Peruvian, 3/8 Chilean
ARI# 31118149 | DOB: 5/5/2007
Silver Elation is a rare dilute silver gray with an incredibly soft, well bundled and consistent fleece without any spots that is so dense, it feels like a heavy carpet. This male was born with a distinct Classic Silver Gray pattern which all but disappeared as his fiber dried. Every person who has seen him has been impressed by this amazing fleece that appears platinum in color with white in the neck, bib, face and legs.

When we took him to two shows in 2008, he was put into an indefinite ...

Huacaya, Female, Proven, Bay Black
ARI# 31118309 | DOB: 7/14/2007
Anasette is the product of two light silver gray parents so we were somewhat surprised that she was bay black. Her fleece is very dense and fine with a soft and pleasing hand to it with good crimp from skin to tip.

Both of Ana's parents have beautiful heads and it passed right on down to her. We are very pleased with how nicely she has developed.

Ana produced a TB female by ATV Silver Elation on 5/18/10 that is the finest black "Elite" fleece we have ever produced.

Description

Anastasia is the third generation of finely fleeced females originating from the champion female Anabelle. Though she didn't win her class as she is so fine that the humidity made her look like a suri, her bright and fine "elite" bundled fleece inherited from her sire won her the second spot in a very competitive class. AFCNA scored her second fleece as BABY FINE!

Her grand dam, Anabelle, is truly a gorgeous female that we were very proud to own and miss her but her new owner is very happy especially since she delivered another Elation silver female in 2012. She has not only exquisite medium silver gray fleece covering excellent conformation, she is charming and this is passes to her offspring! Her maternal grandsire was the AOBA 2004 1st place Gray adult, as well as National Versatility Champion, MAPACA Versatility Champion and Eastern States Versatility Champion.

Anastasia’s sire, Silver Elation of ATV has been giving his offspring the fine as well as DENSE fleeces we have been striving for since we began our ranch over 25 years ago.

Now we are going to up our game with a breeding breeding to Marathon!s Thor with his, incredible density and coverage!
