When he was evaluated by a famous international alpaca consultant we were told, "You need to control the genetics of this one. Lucy is the perfect PR personality, friendly and easy to handle. Her fiber has bright, consistent crimp and staple length with a wonderful soft handle. Excellent conformation and bite. Description

Lucy's Locana, or Lo for short, joined our herd at the age of 2 months. She's a sweet little female with tons of personality and terrific fleece!

Lo has impressive staple length with uniform crimp consistent across her fleece. Beautiful brightness and very fine, she's got nice density too! Her bite is correct and she seems to be maturing very nicely. Still too early to be sure, but I would imagine she'll be ready to breed this summer.

Although I guess she's technically for sale, we would love to have her stay in on MaRS and become part of our breeding program. I'd love to see her bred to one of our Phobos sons!
