We knew when we bought half interest in Da Vinci that we were going to realize a marked improvement in our herd, but we never expected to produce a color champion from the first crop of crias, at that cria's first show! If you want crimp, fineness and density, book a breeding to Da Vinci now to see it in your herd in 2013! His cria have also garnered Reserve Color Champ, Judge's Choice, Best Hand and other accolades.

Behind every great man is a great woman, and sometimes 2 or 3! Sire lines are important, sure, and Da Vinci's got 'em, but dam lines are equally so, and he's got them too! Da Vinci's sire is none other than Accoyo El Nino, whose accolades include Champion and Reserve Herd Sire of the Year, 3 time Get of Sire, and color championships. Da Vinci's dam, Pacific Crest Peruvian Mulberry, is a dark brown 3 time color champion and dam of color champions. But that's not all, Accoyo's Caligula and Camilio (fawn) are his grandsires, and his granddams have also stood in the winner's circle and produced many champions themselves. The test of prepotency of genetics has been won! Here's a male who has distinct elite bundling fleece with density, brightness and handle, AND he's producing color to boot! Sure, there're lots of El Nino sons on the ground, but not too many in the East, and none with a dark brown multiple color champion dam who consistently produces champions year after year at Pacific Crest Accoyo America.

We are thrilled to be co-owners of Da Vinci with Hidden Hill Farm Alpacas. Every female purchased from us is eligible for a free breeding to this spectacular, rare male!
