Huacaya, Female, Proven, Medium Fawn, 5/8 Peruvian, 3/8 Chilean
ARI# 31004879 | DOB: 9/26/2008
Jewel has proven to be a solid foundation female. She has produced color both times and she is holding her fiber stats extremely well. We are very pleased with her all around.

Her sire is Kanaka, a multi-champion winner out of multi-champion Avatar, out of multi-champion Peruvian Oro. Kanaka's dam is Crescent Moon's Mint Twist, out of none other than 4Peruvian Legacy.

Jewel's dam, Grand Velvet Supreme or "Dusti" as she is called, is the mother of several exceptional cria. Jewel's Grand...

Description

This impressive male boasts Enlightenment as his sire and both Avatar & Silvio on his dam's side! Tahosa was the youngest in every class he was shown in but he held his own against the older guys.

Like his sire, Tahosa's fleece is visually very uniform, exhibiting the same crimp and definition from front to back and top to bottom. As reflected in his low SD, his fineness is also very uniform. Tahosa has a very impressive histogram, particularly for a gray. His fawn dam gets most of the credit for that.

Chief Tahosa and Mitchell cleaned up again at GWAS! Tahosa took a 3rd in his halter class and went on to Performance classes where the team got 4 more ribbons! It is a treat having a herd sire that is so easy to handle!

Tahosa's price is not indicative of low quality. We simply do not have any females of our own to breed him to anymore as each and every one sold while pregnant with his offspring! He is too good to not be working for someone else.

Tahosa has produced offspring in rose gray, bay black, true black, brown and beige.

Transport is the responsibility of the buyer.
