    WWR PRINCE GREYSTONE

Suri, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Medium Rose Grey, Full Peruvian
    ARI# 837014 | DOB: 6/15/2002
Prince Greystone is a strikingly beautiful Rose Grey Suri herdsire, whose accomplishments in the ring are second to none. He has twice won AAA Futurity Color Champion, he took AOBA and AWE Color Championships, and took first in the International Alpaca Odyssey (no grey championship in that show). He has very uniform, lovely rose grey color throughout, with high luster and excellent independent twisted locks. He is a large, well-conformed male with a very "typey" head.

Suri, Female, Proven, True Black, 5/8 Peruvian, 1/4 Bolivian
    ARI# 31385282 | DOB: 7/7/2008
Rosalinda is a TRUE BLACK female with luster and locking to envy. Her bloodlines include Kobe and Mahogany Prince from her dam's side, and her sire is the famous Sierra Bonita Sirius Black. Think of her genetic potential...

She is a proven beeder and a very good mother. We are very proud of her multiple blue ribbon winning True Black daughter Siriana, and her CHAMPION son, Marko--both by Prince Greystone. Rosalinda is an easy breeder and a trouble-free mother to her crias.

    Description

Take a look at our Siriana! We thought she was bay black, but the judge proclaimed her a TRUE black, and she has luster and locking for all to admire! She's an average-sized girl with nice bone and a level top line. She was an excellent mother to her first cria.
Did you get a gander at her ARI certificate? Whoo-eee! Her sire is the legendary grey super-stud, WWR Prince Greystone! He is known for passing "harlequin grey"'/modern grey/appaloosa phenotypes to his many award-winning offspring. And her dam harkens back to Sirius Black, Kobe of PVA, Mahogany Prince, and MacGyver himself--All the very best dark bloodlines.
Siriana made good on her promise--she took a blue ribbon her first and only time in the show ring. Shortly after, she went off to be bred.

We were very fortunate to be able to breed Siriana to MacGyver's Balboa of PVA before he went to his new home. WOW!--she presented us with a GORGEOUS multi/harlequin girl, PERFECT Balboa-signature head, and Siriana is a great mom just like her dam, Rosalinda.
Now this gets interesting--how did a true black dam (Siriana) bred to a true black male (Balboa) produce an appy/multi/modern rose grey daughter (Scheherezade)? We think the honor goes to Siriana's sire, Prince Greystone, who has sired many a harlquin/modern grey cria. So, this unfurls a magic carpet of color possibilities for her offspring going forward!!

We are trying to downsize our herd, so our auction listings are bargains for you!

Siriana is at Alpacas of Marin in the North San Francisco Bay area..
