Melinda May was my first serious alpaca and I will never sell her. She produced four females in a row for me, all four from different sires. Her fourth daughter, sired by K2, Lulu Mae, has taken color championships at fleece shows. This year, Melinda presented me with a Casanova son we call Cassius. Cassius is a perfect F2 Accoyo/Alianza cross male, as both sire and dam are Accoyo/Alianza. His grandsires are Caligula and Royal Fawn, and he is carrying a fleece that resembles that which our famous Dually possessed at this age. In fact, he has been mistaken for a full brother to Dually, several times! This year, we changed things up a bit, and bred Melinda to the full brother to our Mini-Pearl, Pachacuti's Polar Express, a male we have always known on our farm as Arthur. Now, we would love a female from Melinda, because she is a 1997 model.
