Gypsy Girl is a lovely, highly-improved true black female with many of the attributes of her sire Velvet's Prince William, who was the recipient of many high awards in the industry and known for his very soft fleece.

Her shiny, long-stapled fleece is dense with defined crimp on tiny staples and very consistent across her blanket (18.4 CV).

Gypsy has a calm demeanor, is approachable and very manageable. She was bred in 2012 to Golden Pine's Mackenzie to assure the continuity in her cria of density and fineness. She delivered a healthy female cria named Victoria (pictured with Gypsy) September 25, 2013. Victoria maintains a Baby Grade AFD with her 3rd shearing.

Gypsy comes with a breed to your choice of Golden Pine's herdsires. We would personally choose either True black Antonio of Med. Silver Grey Veritas.

Comments from buyers of Gypsy's fiber: " Beautiful soft silky fiber, can't wait to spin this up." and "This fiber is just as beautiful and soft as the listing stated. I am very picky about my raw fiber and I want next to no vm and good staple lengths and I want it to be soft. This fiber had all of those qualities. The black is very consistent in color, and doesn't have sun bleaches tips. I have processed and spun a lot of this already and it makes a lovely yarn." [See GoldenPineAlpacas.Etsy.com Reviews]
