Nigerian DwarfBuck (male)cou clair
ADGA# D2065919DOB: 4/7/20197 yrs
Ross is the nigerian dwarf foundation buck for our small mini nubian herd. His 2 mini nubian daughters that we retained are both on MDGA's 2023 Top Ten list! His daughter N&J Fairie Tails Pixie Evenstar *P was #1 for milk production! His daughter, N&J Fairie Tails A Cassiopeia *P won Reserve Grand Champion in MDGA's spring 2024 v-show! Ross is a purebred ADGA nigerian dwarf. His stunning cou clair coloring is only the icing on the cake. He brings excellent milk creds and soft udders with open orifices. He has a calm, pleasant personality and good conformation. He has been throwing kids with nice width and level toplines. His weakness is in his feet and slightly posty rear leg angulation. His two daughters in our herd both easily earned their milk star. Pixie produced 1981 lb. milk and 81 lb. butterfat in 305 days as a 2f. Cassy produced 1881lb. milk and 83 lb. butterfat in 305 days as a ff! His first two daughters kidded fall of 2021 at Gibson farm with cute udders. See their udder pics (courtesy of Gibson farm). They are unshaven with an eight-hour fill. In 2022 they appraised VVV+ 85 and VEE+ 85 as two year olds and both earned their milk stars as ff!! His littermate sister earned her milk star as an ff, producing 578 lb. in 305 days (see udder in pics). She also appraised VEEV 88 in 2022 as a 3-year-old. His pedigree is filled with superior genetics and elite animals and with milk awards. We are hoping he passes this heritage on to our new mini nubian line. Thank you, Gibson Farm for selling this buck to us! Albatross's dam is SG Gibson Farm STS Roxanne 1*M. She is elite doe 2018-2022 averaging in the 96th percentile. V-show comments:
Emily Thompson wrote "This doe has greater strength in general appearance than most in our lineup, combined with a very correct and well attached mammary system, and has greater depth of body than others in this lineup." and "(best udder) One places over two for her advantages in general appearance, showing us more levelness in the rump from hips to pins, as well as being more correct in front end assembly with more prominence in the withers when viewed from the side. One also shows an advantage in body capacity with more length and depth to her barrel than two."
Katelyn Greene wrote "Tight placing in C over E, but today she has an advantage in the mammary system having greater extension of foreudder and being more appropriate in size and delineation. She also has an advantage in body capacity being longer and deeper in her barrel."
