Going on 4 years old this spring, freshened last in January. Awesome doe, kidded with quads last year in the freezing cold and had them all cleaned before we found her! Peaked at 10 pounds/5 quarts a day last year, but this freshening we missed that she had a slight mastitis until she was drying back. Treated and dried the bad side to let it heal. Currently giving 3 quarts on only 1 side! She should refreshen with milk on both sides next year with not trouble.
