We call this beautiful boy "Val". He comes from a herd that practices CAE preventatives, therefore this lovely buck is as friendly as a puppy dog! He is such a sweetheart and absolutely loves our attention! It makes handling him a breeze. This boys pedigree has Elite sires, Grand Champions and Superior Genetics. I look forward to using him in our herd. So far we have seen one of his daughters freshen and we are really impressed and love her butter soft udder and milk production for first freshening! We had two doelings born and can see so much improvement already over their dams. Of course, time will tell and we are going to keep them to see how they mature. With one daughter freshened and linear appraised, Val is well on his way to becoming a proven sire in our herd! LA 2024 FS 86 +VV LA 2025 FS 86 VVV

PedigreeMilking Record

This timid girl came to us from Arizona with her sire, Silverfire Vaballathus. She has Top Ten Breed Leader Black Mesa Tally's Reese in her pedigree. Although she doesn't seem too fond of being handled, we are going to work on that! At glance, you would think this doeling is over a year old. She surpassed in size all of our yearlings! That growth vigor is what we are excited to have in our herd.

Because she is so shy and tenses up when I am photographing her, you don't get to see how beautiful she really is!

Update: 12/10/2024
Moon finally went into heat and was bred to Oliver on 12/2/2024. She has matured so beautifully and we have been handling and working with her more. We can see a difference in her temperament as we handle her more!

Update: 8/21/2025
Moon's single doeling went to a new herd in Texas! We also received Moon's Genetic Evaluation and are so proud of her! Her numbers are promising, because even though she was not bred by us, we own her sire Silverfire Vaballathus. It is great to see that he is passing on milk production as his sire did to all of his sisters who are doing wonders at Silverfire Ranch.

Moon is sweet and an absolute doll on the milk stand. Her udder is impressive and she has a really bright future here with us. She did fantastic on Linear and wowed the appraiser with her depth of body and mammary. They told us to keep an eye on her, because she is going to mature into a very lovely doe!

Update: 10/08/2025
Moon has become so much more comfortable with us. She loves Animal Crackers and we try to spend as much time handling her as we can so that she learns just how special and important she is to us. This doe is one to keep an eye out for in our herd!
