Ours are excellent mothers, routinely hatching out a raising large clutches every year. Chefs tell me they are the only breed of duck used in fine dining establishments partly because the breast meat is the texture of fine sirloin. Muscovy breast is not a white meat, but it tastes delicious grilled or roasted. We harvest a fair number of birds every year and offer young ducks in the fall (that should be ready to hatch our their first clutches in the spring) and ducklings in the spring and summer.Duck is somewhat seasonal, so please email us to verify what we have in stock.
