Lark brings exciting dairy lines to our herd! His dam Eclipse has strong milk production and was on MDGA's top ten list in 2020- 2023. #2 for milk weight and #8 for butterfat weight in 2021. His sire Conquering Flame comes from heavy milk lines in the nubian world and combines them with excellent conformation and well attached udders! Lark is staying nice and small. He already has nice width. We're especially looking forward to watching his daughters develop! Thanks, Eliya for allowing us to add this buck to our herd! All pics of parents and grandparents are courtesy of Green Gables. Lark's sire is Kessel Run JJ Conquering Flame *B. Eliya writes of Flame "Super excited about bringing in these phenomenal new lines into our herd! Flame's dam is sired by a hugely influential Nubian buck, SG Six M Galaxy Noel's Comet ++*B, multi-time elite sire! Comet is the son of Six M Galaxy Nova’s Sonia Noel 10*M who is just as famous as her son. Genesis carries on that MILKY legacy and milked 3140# last year on 305 day test and peaked at 20# of milk!!! And she carries all that milk extremely well which is a hard combination to find. Her udder is high, well attached with a great medial. She also has a strong will to milk. Flame's sire is finished virtual champion, VCH Mistwood LJJ Jacobs Java who I have been watching since he first escaped and bred a Nubian without permission which brought the attention of the MiniNubian world to him. LOL. He has gorgeous general appearance with a strong level topline, excellent width and depth of body with great width and strong feet and legs. VERY excited to see what Flame does in our herd! He is a 1st generation 50/50, so has airplane ears, but I can work with that in order to bring in all the other incredible traits he offers. :) " Here's Flame's pedigree" Sire: VCH Mistwood LJJ Jacobs Java (Nigerian Dwarf) ss: Sweet Syringa’s Latin Java Joe (VV+ 85) (Sugar Moon RB Latin Lover *B x Northern Fork Kava Java) sd: Otter Grove M Mazee *M (EEEV 90) (Old Mountain Farm Mirza x Pecan Hollow C Got Pickles) Dam: Crow’s Dairy Comet’s Genesis 8*M ds: SG Six M Galaxy Noel’s Comet ++*B (VVV88) ELITE (SG Six M Galaxy D Lucky King ++*B (EEE91) x SG Six M Galaxy Nova’s Sonia’s Noel 10*M (EEEV91) 5 times Top Ten; Elite) dd: Crow’s Dairy Patti’s Eryn 7*M (Black Mesa Marco’s Bingo +*B x SG Crow’s Dairy Meagan’s Patti 6*M) Lark's dam is Green Gables FF Cali Eclipse 5*P. Eliya writes of Eclipse "ECLIPSE is an amazing doe although she is NOT photogenic. Eclipse has a ton of capacity and is one of our heaviest milkers giving over 1500# a year. Her rear udder is super high. She is VERY easy to milk. Her teats are longer than ideal, but very easy to milk with large orifices, so we are happy. She is a favorite one to milk here as it only takes a few moments to milk her completely. She is a phenomenal milker and lives up to her highly productive heritage. She is linebred on one of the most amazing MiniNubian does who has become a legend among MiniNubian breeders: VMCH Echo Hill's Molly O'Malley 2*P. Eclipse's dam's udder was everything I breed for: Incredible capacity, excellent teat placement, high, wide rear udder, well extended and smoothly blended foreudder, correct udder shape and TONS of milk peaking at 10# as a 2nd freshener! Eclipse was been slower to mature, but bloomed as a 2nd freshening 3 year old with amazing production and filled out much more. She has very nice breed character with long pendulous ears and a very roman nose. She has a lovely topline with sharp, tight withers, a strong chine, and a long, wide, level and flat rump (although it almost NEVER looks right in photos!). Eclipse has a sweet, quiet personality. In fact, her voice is so soft that occasionally, she will 'maa' and no sound comes out. LOL." Here's Eclipse's pedigree: Sire: VMCH Green Gables USG Freedom Fighter +*B (4th gen) ss: VMCH Echo Hill's Ulysses S. Grant +*B (4th gen) (FMCH Echo Hill's Lord Ulysses *B x Hidden Creek's Amber Glow *P 1 CH leg) sd: VMCH Echo Hill's Molly O'Malley 2*P (3rd gen) (Echo Hills King Patrick O'Malley *B x FMCH Hidden Creek's Patches 1*P) Dam: Green Gables Cali Luna 4*P (5th gen) ds: VMCH Green Gables SS Moonbeam +*B (4th gen) (+B Echo Hill's Shining Star x Green Gables USG Trillium 2*P) dd: VMCH Green Gables EHJ Sapphire 3*P (4th gen) (+*B Echo Hill's Jasper x VMCH Echo Hill's Molly O'Malley 2*P)

Stardust is a long, elegant mini nubian. She has good conformation, perfect breed character, and a pleasant personality. She has a deep barrel and good spring of ribs with a strong topline. We are very pleased with her development and she is a big part of our herd's foundation. Star kidded with a well attached udder and a lovely fore udder! As a three year old, Star peaked at 12 lb of milk in one day! At 192 days fresh as a first freshener, Star met the requirements to earn her milk star! Milk records: age 1-03 264 days 1200 lb. 4.4%/53 lb. butterfat 4%/48 lb. protein age 2-03 237 days 1511 lb. 4%/61 lb. butterfat 3.8%/58 lb. protein age 3-01 263 days 2132 lb. 4.4%/93 lb. butterfat 3.6%/76 lb. protein V-show comments: Emily Thompson wrote "Two places over three for her advantage in mammary system, showing a fore udder extending further into the body wall as well as a median that lends to a more desirable shape to the mammary. While two yields in levelness of rump from hips to pins to three, two does show us an advantage of general appearance in levelness of rump from thurl to thurl, and in the front end assembly, being wider in the chest floor than three when viewed from the front." Katelyn Greene wrote "D is placing over F for her advantage in the mammary system. She's more uniformly wide in her rear udder with greater extension of foreudder. She also has an advantage in body capacity being wider in her chest floor, deeper at the heart girth, and fuller in her crops." Stardust's sire is Storybook Farm's Sir Lancelot. Sir Lancelot is a stunning purebred F7 mini nubian. He has a calm, friendly personality and great milk creds. He is long and deep bodied with soft dairy skin, good rear leg angulation and a high, wide escutcheon. The following is his pedigree. He brings together two well-known mini nubian lines, Goat Trails and Echo hills. Lance's sire is Goat Trails Finley's Gem Texas Pete *B. Pete is a handsome polled buck from Texas. Two of his daughters earned their milk star this year.
