Goat, Nubian, Doe (female) | Brown roan
Aspen is such a sweet and hardy doe. The things that we love about her is how much she's bonded to us. Production isn't always the most important thing. We also value personality and willingness to please, which Aspen here loves to do. While she didn't do much in the milking department on her first freshening as a two year old, we also understand that kidding a single may have had something to do with it. Her willingness to keep milking for me at 7 months of lactation is impressive and as I said, is a trait to be admired. Not only that, but she is a sound little doe with good conformation. We did have to work hard on her hooves as she was not properly cared for, and its taken time to fix. We love her strength, shoulders and rump width and her buttery soft udder is well attached. I am so eager to see how she freshens this coming year, as she is one I really want to keep around for her well rounded conformation and ability to thrive in our environment. With a good buck over her I think we can make Aspen far more productive! Linear Appraisal 2025(FS) 83 V+VA
