Lessons learned on the farm*

• 80% of the work raising alpacas is observation!
• Lesser quality alpacas live forever!
• Alpacas know when you want to do something with them--such as show them to visitors!
• Alpacas think watering flowers is a waste of time and resources!
• Alpacas think we are their personal servants!
• Mating A Beautiful female to a handsome male does not guarantee a Champion offspring!
• It will turn cold the day you shear!
• It will rain the day before shearing
