BR Heir2ALegacy LM BR Heir2ALegacy LMHuacayaFemaleWhite AOA+CLAA# DOB: 6/26/20149 yrs Legacy is a testament to the breeding program she comes from. She has an amazing fleece, with fine, tight popcorn crimp and a buttery soft handle. We just cannot get over the density of this little girl, or the fact that her crimp extends from her cheeks down through her legs.
Her dam Allure is a proven producer of both colour and quality. With several ribbon winning cria on the ground, including some pretty hefty males who are making their names as studs, it stands to reason that Legacy comes from a good background.
When we look at her, we see that she is maturing into a lovely animal. She is quite upright in her posture, and moves like royalty. While not as hefty in her frame as...

BR Rum's BocelliTop 10% of EPD's & 19.9 microns @ 8yrs! BR Rum's BocelliHuacayaHerdsire (Male)Light Fawn ARI+CLAA# AOA# 32745429, CLAA# 43496 DOB: 5/15/201211 yrs To say that Bocelli holds a special place in my heart would be an understatement. He was produced by Ernie and Denise Gamroth at Battle River Alpacas, and his quality is a testament to their breeding program. His sire is Hummingherd's Rum Runner, a PC Running Late son; and his dam is BR Belicia, out of RGA Miguel and Monterra's Bellana, well known champion and champion producers in Canada.
Bocelli is a well put together male who displays an attractive, true to type head style. Judges have always remarked on the high degree of brightness and organization in Bocelli's fleece, its length, and the character that carries throughout from topknot to tail. He continues to maintain a very fine and...

Northern Mystery's Vesta Northern Mystery's VestaHuacayaFemaleLight Fawn, Medium Fawn, Dark Fawn CLAA# CLAA# 48628 DOB: 7/5/20185 yrs We were surprised when Vesta was born to see such an unusual colour come from both of her parents. Although she is technically dark fawn, she fades into medium rose grey in all of her extremities, and her muzzle is speckled in brown, grey, red-fawn and white! Needless to say, we are excited to see how she looks at shearing time.
For now, we continue to fawn over this girl! She surpassed any expectation we ever had coming from both Paz and Bocelli, and frankly she has set the bar pretty high for subsequent pairings. Straight legs, with an upright, medium build and coverage to spare, she is lovely to look at and commands attention. When you open her fleece, she is one of the densest cria we...

Vida Loca Big Bang Vida Loca Big BangHuacayaFemaleMedium Fawn, Light Rose Grey CLAA# CLAA# 40697 DOB: 7/12/201013 yrs Paz was a surprise, having been born without anyone having any idea as to just who her sire was. However, we've since found out that he is the handsome Vida Loca Nero.
Somewhat a contradiction, Paz's call name means "peace", however, her pasture antics of explosive pronking and her large size, led us to register her as "Big Bang".
She has a nice, dense fleece with a beautiful handle, nice crimp and a pleasing heathery-fawn colour (and, interestingly enough, a rose grey spot on her shoulder). She has coverage to spare, and continues to produce a lovely, roan coloured fleece.
Conformationally, Paz has matured into a large, highly correct female with perfect legs and a fantastic prese...

Northern Mystery's Khagan4.5" MSL, 19.7µ fleece for a 5yo! Northern Mystery's KhaganHuacayaHerdsire (Male)Medium Brown ARI+CLAA# AOA# 31940474, CLAA# 48629 DOB: 7/11/20185 yrs Khagan means "Khan of Khan's", and boy, do we think this boy is living up to his name. Not only is this guy covered from topknot to toes in a rich brown fleece, he is bright, dense, and uniformly fine and full of crimp across his blanket. Set on a compact, conformationally correct frame, Khagan is a herdsire in the making, and we could not be more pleased with how he is growing.
His dam is Shahkell, who produces some of the most consistent fleeces on our farm, leaving her fibre always feeling wonderfully soft in it's handle. Bocelli, his sire, consistently produces long, bright staples and heavy fleece weights— and between the pair, longevity of fineness is something we expect to see in K...

Northern Mystery's EuryphaessaColour Champion Northern Mystery's EuryphaessaHuacayaFemaleWhite, Beige, Light Fawn AOA+CLAA# DOB: 7/5/20203 yrs When Eury was born we knew we had something special. This girl hit the ground running with the longest fleece we've ever seen on a newborn, and she absolutely did not stop. Full sister to Erasmus, we were unsurprised to watch her fleece develop in true silky fashion, with it taking some time to really develop the character it is displaying now, and wow was it worth the wait.
Phenotypically, Eury is her sire's carbon copy, with photos of the two of them at the same age being nearly indistinguishable. She is growing fleece with exceptional length, brightness, and uniformity in micron across the blanket, with her cria fleece coming in with an average staple length of 7.5", and her yearling f...

ECA RoxceneExtremely Dense ECA RoxceneHuacayaFemale (bred)White AOA+CLAA# DOB: 8/24/200914 yrs Roxcene is an extremely dense female with a feminine air about her. Even into her breeding years she is maintaining positive fleece traits. She is perhaps the densest animal on the farm, with highly organized, high frequency, high amplitude crimp. We have no doubt that if we were to start showing her again, she'd not only hold her own in her classes, she'd excel.
She is a friendly girl with a very curious, easy going temperament. She is also a fantastic dam, who is very attentive to her cria. We quite like her genetics, as she has both Rockamundo and Victor's Vaccoyo in her pedigree. We have found our Rockamundo granddaughters to be absolutely excellent in terms of maintaining positive f...

Northern Mystery's Eos Northern Mystery's EosHuacayaFemale (bred)White, Light Brown CLAA# CLAA# 40699 DOB: 9/1/201013 yrs Eos has loads of personality to say the least. An easy to handle girl, she has been everywhere from the show ring to the classroom, always leaving a positive impression on everyone who has the pleasure of meeting her.
Eos has placed in every class she has competed in, displaying a fine, crimpy fleece with a long staple length and a bright, soft handle. Her fleece has pleased more than one hand-spinner, with quite a few requests for it. Most recently, she was included in the Northlands Spring Show's Shearing demonstration (2012) and the spinners commented not only on its beautiful handle, but its cleanliness and ease of spinning.
Eos is a good sized female, with good conformation and ...

BR Rum's AngelicaTop 5% for SDAFD! BR Rum's AngelicaHuacayaFemale (bred)Dark Fawn AOA+CLAA# DOB: 5/6/201310 yrs Angelica is an absolutely stunning female with a quiet disposition. This little girl is half sister to our award winning Bocelli, and frankly she is one of the nicest females we've ever had the pleasure of working with.
Another Rum Runner daughter, Angelica is out of a beautiful fawn dam, Bellana's Angel, who enjoyed a highly successful show career with a Supreme Championship and numerous firsts to her name. Angel, like Rum, is graced with a list of progeny who all carry on her good fortune in the ring.
Angelica herself is a rich, coffee and cream coloured fawn with dark points and a grey nose. The length of her fibre is impressive, as she maintains a long, yet consistent staple leng...
