Welcome to Protecters in the Palms
We are ethical breeders, we have 1 male and 1 female who are AKC & ICCF Certified. They are also our pets and our companions. Many so called "Professional Breeders" have way to many dogs locked in kennels for most of their lives. These animals are not given the amount of attention and love that they deserve. They may have many certifications and qualifications, but they are sorely lacking in having quality time & relationships with their animals. We will only have 3 or 4 litters before our female retires and both our dogs will stay with us for their entire life as beloved family pets. We are dedicated to preserving the legacy of the Cane Corso breed. Our breeding pairs lineage is of Championship Show Quality Bloodlines, OFA certified, DNA tested, and temperament tested. The breeder we purchased from is Bred with H.E.A.R.T. certified. Both our dogs have well over 1 year of protection training so far which is their favorite activity by far every training session.
We just had a huge litter! 14 puppies
Cane Corso's are an amazing breed of dogs whose origins come from Ancient Greece. They were originally bred as war dogs. Later they were used in the Roman coliseums.
Although they nearly went extinct during WWI & WWII, the breed was rescued by farmers who realized their value as protectors for their livestock, land and their families. Ever since then they have become more and more popular.
As the world seems to head deeper into high crime rates and violence, people realize that a protective canine is needed now more then ever.
This breed of dogs love their human families and are cuddle bugs. They love to play and use their front legs a lot like we humans use our arms. However they are sure to protect and guard against anyone or anything that would try to harm there human families. They easily recognize if someone is holding any type of weapon and can tell people's intentions by their emotions.
Since they have been bred and used as war dogs and protection dogs they require a dedicated owner who has the time and resources to train them properly. If you're looking for a dog that is friendly to all strangers then maybe a Labrador retriever would work better for you. But if you're looking for a dog that is going to protect you at all costs, then a Cane Corso is the breed for you.
