Welcome to Silver Springs
From Chicago to the Bluegrass State. We left the big city for the idea of a fresh start and owning a farm. So far we have dabbled with horses, heritage pigs, sheep and goats. Though I will admit the goats are merely for fun. We have pygmy and Nigerian dwarf goats, Katahdin sheep. Oh and chickens, so many chickens. We had such a hard time with predators and were losing chickens every night. So we got our first guardian, Hutch. Soon followed Valkyrie. What a difference, they protect all the animals and even the human kids. So rose our next venture, livestock guardians.
