We started with no knowledge of breeding alpacas or raising a herd but had a great mentor in Eric Hoffman who has been in this business for 35 years. We have several fantastic vets in our area in Dr. Robin Skillman and Dr. Michele Ing. Alpacas are such carefree animals and generally take very little time on a daily basis. As we have been able to get them breeding and birthing on schedules we have found that the time and efforts it takes to raise them successfully has been well worth what we receive in their production.
We offer alpacas for sale, stud services, adjustment, education, tours, spinning lessons and hand-made products.

Financial arrangements can be made for every level of investment. 10% down payment to get into an agreement on the sale of an alpaca.

At Loomis Alpacas our goal is to raise and sell the finest and healthiest alpacas available on the market. We started with a foundation herd of 3 and after 15 years have successfully grown. Our goal is to duplicate this through mentoring new farms and creating a strong partnership with others as we move the fiber industry forward in America. We welcome first time alpaca enthusiasts to explore our business and our beautiful alpacas.
I also hand spin and hand knit yarns making unique heirloom scarves.
