Specializing in Blacks and Silver Greys, our small 150 year old farm is a shady haven to 23 beautiful alpacas of Peruvian and Chilean descent whose family trees include some of the most respected names in the industry. Since 2006 we have loved caring for these glorious creatures and also loved the personally fulfilling and creative work of washing, dyeing, carding, spinning, and marketing fiber and handmade fiber products. As experienced professional educators, we offer solid support in these fiber arts and in the care and handling of these magnificent animals. You can rely on us to help you organize and prioritize your needs as a new alpaca farmer and to 'be there' for you, as our own wonderful mentors have been! Because our 'day' (and night) jobs require working on weekends, we have not been involved in the show circuit. Therefore our show-worthy animals are like hidden treasure! An extra special opportunity for you!
Farm Terms & Financing
Creative financing ideas are always welcome! Alpacas must be paid for in full before transfer.
RETIREMENT SALE, A GREAT OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU!
As we take steps towards retiring and selling our big 1860's farm house, all Castle Tower Alpacas are for sale, either singly or in 'packages' to folks who already have alpacas, or in lots of at least 2 for those just starting out. Excellent breeding stock as well as beautiful fiber boys, in the coveted colors of Silver Grey, Rose Grey and Black. Also two very consistent cinnamon browns. Several full Peruvian, all are at least half Peruvian, many are part Alianza or Accoyo. Prices are low even for the current market, as we are motivated to find great new homes for as many of them as possible before winter.
