Ashland's henry clay- legacy descendant
We began our adventure with alpacas in 2011 when Keene and Queen Alpacas of Cedar Bluff Virginia gave Joyce two little males which she quickly fell in love with. We quickly learned that alpacas were one of the most intelligent and friendliest animals We had ever worked with so we decided to purchase some bred females and start our own herd. When the new Crias began arriving we discovered just how rewarding raising Alpacas could be. There's nothing quite like watching a newborn Cria in the first hours after its birth. Our first Cria born was a little tuxedo rose grey male (Stormy's Whirlwind). That is when we decided to start a breeding program for greys and we haven't been disappointed. We purchased some nice grey and dark colored females and a very nice grey male. it didn't take long to figure out that breeding our dark brown females to a grey male gave us the best chance to get a rose grey Cria. In just four short years we have been rewarded with some of the nicest rose grey crias you will find anywhere. Here are some of the well know blood lines we have added to our herd over the last four years.Royal Fawn, 4Peruvian Legacy, Peruvian Mr President, A Paca Fun's Inspector Clouseau, Accoyo Americian Interprise, Accoyo America Alpha and and Cresent Moons Kryptonite. In 2014 we were lucky enough to obtain a very nice all around male Cria out of Emerald Farms Rincon Cloud (Rincon Clouds Afterburn) which we will begin offering at stud in the fall of 2016.In 2015 we obtained a male cria out of the very well know Aussie 38 Special. He sould be available for stud in the spring of 2017. We also added a male Cria out of A And A & MFI Quixotic. With these new additions and selective breeding our next couple of years should be very exciting. In 2015 we found out that we both have health issues and that moving to a warmer climate may help.So in June of 2016 we sold our farm in Virginia and purchased a smaller farm in central Florida near Oxford. We are located one hour north of Orlando and 30 minutes south of Ocala just off of Interstate 75.We have found out that with adequate shelter, plenty of fans and water alpacas can thrive in Florida Give us a call and come by and see some of the nicest rose greys you will see anywhere. If you buy from us will be available 24 - 7 for any help you may need.

It is often said that true success is obtained from the bottom up with planning and hard work. We are finding that to be true with alpacas
