Description

Full Accoyo son of PCA Accoyo El Nino and 6Peruvian Accoyo Reyna 6381 IMPR98(Dam of Caligula's Accoyo Poseidon). El Nino's breedings when available as donations at auctions are selling for approx. $16,000. The dam of Prince was Greg Mecklem's first pick in the 1998 Import and 6th pick overall. We feel very lucky to have been able to purchase this boy from Greg after his Parade of Champions Auction July 2, 2006. Any question to the quality of this male was answered with his performance in his very first full fleece show where he took 2nd & Reserve White Color Championship at the 2006 OABA Alpacafest this past November 2006 over 60 plus other males. Prince's micron results from 2/22/06 at approx. 7 months of age are as follows; FD=18.4, SD=3.1, CV=16.9, .3%>30. Prince is co-owned with Heatherbrook Farms Owner David Brooks located in Ohio. In addition, in Feb 2007 we had Dr. Norm Evans do a skin biopsy of this spectacular male, and he had a follicle density of an amazing 89.5 follicles/mm! His S/P ratio was an astounding 9.18/1! He also had 11 bundles per sq. mm that were orderly and uniform. Prince possesses Super Gland Structure and has almost zero medullated Secondary Fibers! His histogram has Secondary and Primary Fibers that are almost the same Micron. Prince has produced four female crias in a row. Two white and two beige this spring. Prince's 1st cria Snowdrop took a Blue Ribbon & Reserve Championship at 2009 MIAF show at 6 months of age, 2nd @ OABA, 1st @ BelleauWood Show (Tested out @ 94.75 follicles/sq mm at 7 months of age). His second cria French Vanilla tested out @ 94 follicles/sq mm at 5 moths of age. These were two of his first crias born in 2009.
