My boarding farm was moving... I was recently divorced... I had seven alpacas that needed a home...what could be more LUCKY than meeting "Alpaca Jim".
Yes, it's true, I went to check out a new farm to board my alpacas and it turned out to be the best farm visit EVER!
LONG story short, not only did I find an awesome farm for my alpacas, but I met the Campbells, and eventually married Jim.
Now, we have an expanded family and almost 100 alpacas! Not to mention about a dozen chic...

Reflections on luck

This past Sunday was St Patrick's Day. This holiday makes me think about LUCK.
I'm not one to believe all that much in luck, I'm more of the hard work gets results type, but the holiday made me think...
I'm so lucky to know alpacas.
Alpacas introduced me to my husband.
My children get to grow up on a farm.
We get to share our life with gentle animals...
I realize how lucky I am every day, but sometimes, I forget to appreciate how the alpaca has had such an impact on my life. It was LU...
