We currently charge $8* per pound of incoming fleece.


*We reserve the right to determine how "dirty" a fleece is prior to cleaning and may charge $10 per pound. You will receive a phone call or email notification when we receive your fleece.

Price per pound does include return shipping costs.

Shearing time has come and gone.
What do you have in mind for your fleeces this year?
Is there a mill you have in mind?
Does a certain fleece catch your eye as being of show quality?
Do you want to store it until you have enough for a big batch run?

Let Sunburst Valley Alpacas help with your skirting needs!

Even if you don't have plans right away, skirting will help in the long run by removing vegetable matter, dung tags, burrs, hay, etc. which draw in the "guests". Some of those unwanted guests may choose your fiber as part of their diet. Plus, a well-skirted fleece can help reduce the cost of your mill fees.
