Fabulous full Peruvian Inca (Accoyo sire and Allianza dam) daughter out of DAFI Xanadu Lady, one of Latah Creek Alpacas' finest combinations; dynamite conformation, lustrous dark fawn silky fiber and density to boot.
Amanda VandenBosch, AOBA's premier showring judge, commented during her evaluation that Cindy is a maiden female that is of average size and substance. She is true to type in her head style and correct in her jaw alignment and bit. She exhibits a consistent lock and good length to the staple."
Cindy produced her first cria, SDAF Tajna, in 2010, a female sired by our white blue-ribbon winning herdsire, LCA Quechua which we co-own with Alpaca Rose Ranch. What a match that turned out to be! Tajna ribboned in both of her all white very competitive classes in which she was shown.
Cindy was held open due to the poor economic conditions that have prevailed over the last several years. In 2012, she produced a full term cria that did not survive. We have removed her from our breeding program and will be offering her as a non-breeding female.
We believe that starting out with a female fiber herd is a great way for newcomers to get started; later if they decide to purchase breeding stock, they can go right in with the fiber girls rather than a separate pasture.
