orth East Coolidge exemplifies the same phenotypic qualities that made his late grandfather, Peruvian Caligula the most famous herdsire in North America. His impressive lineage includes Maple Brook Angelo, Peruvian Caligula, Peruvian Wellington, Peruvian Hemingway, Peruvian Augusto, Peruvian Bueno, and Peruvian Felix. From the moment of his birth, North East Coolidge was destined to be one of those extrodinary alpacas.
At barely six months old, Coolidge placed at the 2005 MAPACA Show (the largest alpaca show to date) and at every show since. The judges always comment on his crimpy, dense top knot that continues down his neck, his fleece that opens into well-organized locks of soft, bright, lustrous fleece, and his squared off appearance with four strong legs setting squarely under it. He truly is an elite alpaca.
